Go is what we reach for when a job needs to be fast, predictable and cheap to run: APIs under load, background workers, scheduled jobs and services that must not fall over. It compiles to a single binary with no runtime to install, which makes deployment simple and hosting costs low. We build and maintain Go services from our Southampton studio for UK clients.

In practice most of our Go work sits behind a Next.js frontend, handling the parts that need throughput rather than the parts that need to look good.

How Go Projects Are Quoted

Backend work is scoped through our Custom Systems package (from £4,995) after a free discovery call, because the cost depends almost entirely on integrations rather than page count. Smaller pieces of automation are often better served by our Bash and automation service, and we will tell you when that is the cheaper answer.

If you need the public-facing website first, start with Business Builder (£795) or Authority Site (from £1,995) and add backend services once the requirements are clear.
