Anti‑Slavery & Human Trafficking Policy

Statement: Dream Designs Agency has a zero‑tolerance approach to all forms of modern slavery and human trafficking. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery is not taking place anywhere in our own business or in any of our supply chains.

1. Purpose & Scope

This policy sets out our approach to preventing modern slavery within Dream Designs Agency ("the Company") and our supply chains. It applies to all employees, contractors, interns, agency workers, directors, and anyone working on our behalf, as well as to all suppliers and partners who provide goods or services to us.

2. Definitions

  • Modern slavery: The recruitment, movement, harbouring or receiving of children, women or men through the use of force, coercion, abuse of vulnerability, deception or other means for the purpose of exploitation.
  • Human trafficking: Arranging or facilitating the travel of another person with a view to that person being exploited.
  • Forced or compulsory labour: All work or service which is exacted from any person under the menace of any penalty and for which the person has not offered themselves voluntarily.

3. Responsibilities

3.1 Company

  • Maintain and review this policy annually or after significant changes.
  • Conduct risk assessments and due diligence on suppliers and higher‑risk engagements.
  • Provide training and accessible reporting channels.

3.2 Managers & Leads

  • Ensure team awareness, compliance and completion of required training.
  • Escalate concerns promptly to People & Operations.
  • Embed ethical procurement and recruitment practices.

3.3 Everyone Working with Us

  • Read, understand and comply with this policy.
  • Report suspected breaches or concerns immediately via the channels below.
  • Complete mandatory training where required.

4. Risk Assessment & Due Diligence

  • Identify higher‑risk categories (e.g., offshore development, printing, merchandise, cleaning, facilities, temporary staffing).
  • Perform proportionate due diligence on new suppliers and renewals, including ownership, location, labour standards and subcontracting practices.
  • Use contractual clauses that prohibit modern slavery, require compliance with applicable laws, and permit audits and termination for breach.
  • Maintain a supplier register noting risk levels and mitigation measures.

5. Supplier & Partner Standards

  • Prohibit forced, bonded or indentured labour; child labour; and any form of human trafficking.
  • Ensure fair remuneration, working hours within legal limits, and healthy & safe working conditions.
  • Respect workers’ freedom of movement and right to leave employment with reasonable notice.
  • Forbid retention of identity documents or payment of recruitment fees by workers.
  • Flow‑down of these standards to subcontractors.
  • Cooperate with reasonable audits and provide evidence upon request.
