Who pay monthly suits
Spreading the cost makes sense when the website needs to start earning before it is paid for. That is most often a new business, a sole trader, or an established firm whose current site is costing them work but who would rather not find four figures in one go.
- No large upfront bill. There is no setup fee. You start with the first monthly payment.
- Hosting included for the term. The monthly figure is the whole cost, not a base rate with extras added on.
- You own it at the end. After 12 payments the site is yours, with the code handed over. No balloon payment.
- The same build either way. Monthly plans are not a cut-down product. You get the same custom-coded Next.js site as clients who pay upfront.
Pay monthly or pay upfront?
Paying upfront is cheaper in total, because we are not carrying the build cost across the year. Paying monthly costs a little more overall but keeps your cash free. Neither option changes what gets built or how long it takes.

Questions about paying monthly
What happens after the 12 months finish?
The site is yours outright. There is nothing further to pay for the build, and no balloon payment at the end. You can stay with us on a reduced hosting plan, or take the site elsewhere. We hand over the code either way.
Is a pay monthly website more expensive overall?
Slightly, yes. Spreading the cost over 12 months costs a little more in total than paying upfront, because we carry the build cost for the year. What you get in exchange is no large bill at the start, which is usually the deciding factor for a new business or sole trader.
Is hosting included in the monthly price?
Yes. Hosting is included for the full 12-month term on every monthly plan, so the figure you see is what you pay. After the term you move to a reduced hosting-only plan.
Do I need to pay anything upfront?
There is no setup fee on the monthly plans. You start with your first monthly payment and we begin work once your content is ready.
Can I pay the balance off early?
Yes. If your cash flow improves you can settle the remaining months early and take ownership sooner. Just ask and we will confirm the balance.
What is the contract length?
12 months. That is the term over which the build cost is spread. We set it out in writing before anything starts, so there are no surprises.
