The Southampton Tech Talent Challenge
We have two world-class universities in our city, Solent University and the University of Southampton, producing hundreds of skilled developers and designers every year. Yet, many local SMEs struggle to find affordable, high-quality engineering talent because the pull of the capital is too strong.
Too often, graduates feel they have to move to London to work on modern tech stacks or build meaningful web applications. We want to change that narrative by offering local opportunities to build high-performance, custom-coded web applications using modern frameworks like Next.js and React.
Our New Graduate Placement Pipeline
To combat this local brain drain, Dream Designs Agency is partnering with local universities to provide a structured pathway from university to local industry. Our graduate placement program offers hands-on roles where junior engineers don't just maintain legacy WordPress templates, but actively build secure, scalable web applications from scratch.
We believe that investing in local talent not only strengthens our agency but enriches the digital economy of Southampton and Hampshire as a whole.
Supporting Student Startups
