Clients Central began as a list of three bullet points and evolved into a comprehensive marketing software-as-a-service application, providing lead pages, signup forms, email templates, and SMS messaging.

Before Clients Central, generating leads required signing up for a lead page generation website. Additionally, you needed a website that could forward emails and SMS messages from the captured lead information. Third, you would need a content management system to manage all the data from the lead pages and the conversion rate.

A 3-step process across multiple systems was possible. However, it was very time-consuming and costly for every marketing company, up to and including large businesses. Clients Central challenged the status quo by being the first content management system to integrate all three into a single website.

For Dream Designs Agency, this was our first massive CMS website, and we chose to use the cutting-edge, fast and most secure PHP framework, Codeigniter. Paired with jQuery, HTML & CSS, we quickly built a system that enables users to create lead pages with just a few clicks and deploy them with videos.

A challenge that we had to fix early on was the webinars that users could upload. These could be up to 2 hours and over 10 gigabytes in size. To optimise them for websites, we deployed a custom program using FFMPEG. By creating a website-friendly version of the video, we can produce much smaller videos, which in turn reduce heavy loading times and buffering.

A key part of the CMS involved sending reminder emails to potential customers who had signed up via the lead page. By tracking open rates, bounces, and unsubscribe counts, we ensured our content was relevant and not spamming people with unnecessary emails.

The risk of sending SMS messages to people in a scheduled way was significant, as sending them late at night would have damaged the marketing strategy of reminding people and not harassing them with emails and texts.

Once the platform is marked as completed, we stay and continue to update, make changes, and perform constant security monitoring to ensure a complete package for every company that obtains a system, website, or software from Dream Designs Agency.
